Top 5 QB's In The NFL

Joe Dinger by Contributor Written on October 07, 2009

There are lots of opinions and debates over who the top five qb's are in the NFL, but how do we measure just how good a qb is?

Do we look to the stats, wins vs losses or maybe we just look at the ability to make plays when your team needs you most?

I think it's all those things rolled into one, and to be honest there shouldn't be much debate about who the top five qb's are, it's pretty obvious actually.

Let me shed some light on just who the top five qb's are in the league right now.

1. Drew Brees - For the obvious reason this guy is number one, Seriously there is no QB playing better than Drew right now.

2. Peyton Manning - Take away his coahes and this guy still performs carrying his team to 4-0.

3. Brett Favre - Take it for what you want, but this forty year old passing legend is still better than most of the leagues young rising stars. I think the question was, just how much better does Brett make the Vikings? Answer: so far he makes them 2 wins better.

4. Eli Manning - Nothing flashy, but he gets it done.

5. Jay Cutler - Love him or hate him he has earned his number 5 spot.
