National League Playoff Preview: 2009 Playoffs

The Los Angeles Dodgers, St. Louis Cardinals, Colorado Rockies and defending World Series Champs Philadelphia Phillies all have one goal in mind......World Series.

We have teams that haven't won in years, some in decades and one that hasn't one it at all.

The National League will try to make it two in a row for the first time since 1981-82 when the Los Angeles Dodgers and St. Louis Cardinals did it.

The National League have won two of the last three (St. Louis Cardinals 2006 & Philadelphia Phillies 2009) and have won four this decade ( Arizona D'Backs 2001, Florida Marlins 2003, St. Louis Cardinals 2006 and Philadelphia Phillies in 2009).

I will breakdown some facts about the National League side of the Playoffs and will break down the teams and my predictions and who will represent the National League in the 2009 World Series.
