Some Matches I Wanna See For WWE Bragging Rights

An interesting concept was revealed for WWE Bragging Rights on Raw. It was said that the matches would be SmackDown Vs Raw. Basically they would fight for their shows Bragging Rights. I think this is a great idea because it gives the WWE a chance to have some good new matches as well as repeat some old classics. There a few matches in mind that I would love to see. Here is a list of some of them. Enjoy the read.

Chris Jericho(SmackDown) Vs Shawn Michaels(Raw)

The picture says that Jericho frowns upon your stupidity. Well I think we are smart enough to realize a good match when we see it and this would definately be one of those.

I'm sure everyone remembers that amazing feud with Chris Jericho and Shawn Michaels in 2008. It was that very same feud that turned Chris from that funny face everyone loves. To that dispicible heel everyone loves to hate.

They had many great clashes and had some very interesting stuff happen in the feud. You had Jericho throwing Shawn through a Jeri-tron. You had Chris punch Shawn's wife. You had an unsanctioned match. And who could forget that epic Ladder Match between Shawn and Chris? It was amazing!

To see these two face off against would be a great pleasure. And if it's even half as amazing as their feud was it'll be great. Not really sure who would take it home for their brand, but I would hope it's Chris Jericho. Why? Because he is the best in the world today!

Evan Bourne(Raw) Vs John Morrison (SmackDown)

One match, two high flyers, one spectacular show.

I would love to see John Morrison go head to head with Evan "Air" Borune. The match would be great just because of all the highflying action we would get to see. Especially if WWE throws in some kind of stipulation in there. Perhaps something like Ladder Match. Maybe a Tables match, just something to add to the stunts.

This would be a great way for to young stars to break out of their shells and show us what they are really made of. I think just because John Morrison holds the IC Championship and has proved himself, that this match goes to Evan Bourne. After going to Raw Evan has been put on hold and is really being used well.

Winning this match could show that he has the talent to fight for the mid card belt at least. Plus Miz Vs Bourne would be pretty good. So Bourne to win this one.

Dolph Ziggler(SmackDown) Vs Jack Swagger(Raw)

Two superstars on the rise set to face off against each other, not bad.

Jack Swagger, the All American Ass, I mean American is a pretty good superstar who is bound to break out soon. He has got a decent set of mic skills and can work it in the ring. He can make some of the worst opponents look good.

And his opponent, Mr Ziggles. Dolph Ziggler is another star who is on the rise. He is young, cocky, with decent mic skills, and good in the ring. Dolph has gotten many chances to win the IC Championship. He has failed them all. To kind of regain that momentum I think it would be good to have him win. Plus I don't wanna see Swagger brag about his undefeated streak.

This match could pave the way for one of these two future WWE main eventers. Maybe instead of actually having either of them win have them draw with each other. Like a double count out. That way it won't ruin anyone.

Triple H(Raw) Vs Matt Hardy(SmackDown)

What's my reasoning behind this? Well...

Matt Hardy is none as the forgotten Hardy. Matt has to take a back seat to his brother Jeff a lot. Why? Just because he doesn't do anymore crazy stunts anymore? So what. He is still talented as ever and needs something to be pushed back into the main event.

That something is Triple H. Over the years Triple H has been developing his legend in World Wrestling Entertainment. He is a 13 time World Champion. He has the biggest ego as well as nose in the business. Most importantly though he is credible. The thing is if you beat someone credible, can you become credible?

Well that is what I am hoping for here. A win for Matt Hardy over Triple H coud mean a possible trip to the main event for Matt. Maybe it'll even lead to his first World Heavyweight Championship. By now we all know he deserves it. So WWE, make it happen.

Natalya(SmackDown) Vs Beth Phoenix(Raw)

It's the battle of the two superwomen in the WWE. Beth Phoeniz and Natalya are two of the strongest divas in the WWE today. They are smart and powerful(you know the saying sexy, smart, and powerful for the divas well only two apply here).

I think that these divas can put on a decent match for us to watch. Despite the divas having their critics these days I think these are two of the better divas in the WWE and can get things done. The win will have to go to Beth though just because SmackDown has so many wins already.

Legacy(Raw) Vs Hart Dynasty(SmackDown)

Two of the better tag team in the WWE at the moment are Legacy and Hart Dynasty. Legacy consists of Ted Dibiase and Cody Rhodes. Meanwhile Hart Dynasty consists of Tyson Kidd and David Hart Smith.

Over the past few months Legacy has had their hands full with DX. Last night at Hell In A Cell. DX destroyed them and took them out of action for the time being. It seems like that feud has ended with Legacy going home with bruises.

Basically since DX has moved on Legacy can too. So at Bragging Rights it would be cool to see Hart Dynasty face off against Legacy. I think Legacy should take it just as a second prize. Instead of beating DX they can beat the Hart Dynasty. First prize is still better, but what can you do?

Rey Mysterio(SmackDown) Vs Kofi Kingston(Raw)

LAS VEGAS - DECEMBER 2: (U.S. TABLOIDS OUT) WWE wrestler Rey Mysterio walks on stage during the '1st Annual Video Game Awards' at the MGM Grand Garden Arena December 2, 2003 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The show premieres on Spike T.V. Thursday, December 4 a

Another match of the high flyers.

Kofi Kingston is like many an up and coming star in the WWE. He is just looking for that perfect time to break out. Most recently Kofi lost his US Championship to The Miz on an episode of Raw. Still Kofi had a very impressive reign as champion. Defeating many challengers again and again and for him to lose just like that was kind of a shame. Still Kofi will hopefully be put to the test soon enough and make that jump from mid card to main event.

Rey Mysterio is a 170 pound masked luchador. He is a hero to many kids in the WWE audience. And now that Jeff Hardy has left the business I think he can be considered the top high flyer in the WWE. Him losing to Kingston at Bragging Rights could be a passing of the torch. From one risk taking superstar to another.

Even if Rey does win this could prove to be a very exciting match.

Closing Notes

As it has already been announced, at Bragging Rights John Cena will face Orton for the WWE Championship in an Iron Man Match. Also when it comes to the World Title I think it'll probably be CM Punk challenging Taker again. Another interesting thing is I saw a few posters promoting the event and a lot of them had Taker and Tista so it could be that too.

So again it's...
Orton Vs Cena in a 60 Min. Iron Man Match
and
CM Punk Vs Undertaker or Batista Vs Undertaker
