When a season is looking as bad as the Raiders is looking after three games the most you can want is for the young players to get playing time and experience. For the second straight year Darren Mcfadden will miss significant time with a torn knee ligament. Last year Mcfadden was slowed down with turf toe. Mcfadden so far has not lived up to the high expectations that come along with a player that is picked as highly in the draft as he was. With a a rag tag group of o-linemen you wonder how good he could be be if there were holes to run through instead of trying juke defensive linemen 3 yards behind the line of scrimmage. The loss of Mcfadden will mean that the load of running will fall into the hands of Bush and Fargas. With Mcfadden and Gallery on the sidelines the running game will continue to struggle.
