Congrats Tavares!  You weren't perfect, but you were pretty darn good.  A goal and an assist in your first NHL regular season game!

Okposo looked pretty happy to have you on his line. You guys are going to get a lot of points together.  Moulson was pretty happy too, and it looked like you were trying to set him up for some goals.  And of course, Streit, he's having fun with you up front, too.

In my pre-season poll 51.5% thought that Okposo as your line mate would maximize your goal/point total.  Most of the time tonight it looked as if they were right.  Okposo always skates with a certain presence in the offensive zone and you just seem to have a knack with the puck.
