Some people run away from the pressure, others step up and let their opinions be known. Me? I am the type of guy that’s likes a pressure cooker: I hide from nobody and I back down from no challenge.

Clearly, NHL hockey is one of the toughest sports to predict. Fatigue, injuries, momentum, history, rivalry, and bad bounces can all contribute to a team’s collapse, but, unlike some sports, there is always a winner.

Over the entire NHL season I will, for what it’s worth, do my best to pick the winners of each NHL game. It’s no easy task and I am sure I will eat my fair share of crow and be proven wrong more times than I care to count.

Mehh, what the heck...like I said, someone’s gotta put themselves out there, might as well be me, right?

After going zero out of for four on the first night of NHL competition and 2-2 last night, it can only get better for me. Here is a look at my pick’s for tonight’s games:

Chicago vs. Florida—Chicago
Vancouver vs. Colorado—Vancouver
Detroit vs. St. Louis—Detroit
Philadelphia vs. New Jersey—Philadelphia
Montreal vs. Buffalo—Buffalo
Ottawa vs New York Rangers—NY Rangers
Pittsburgh vs. New York Islanders—Pittsburgh
Toronto vs. Washington—Washington
Carolina vs. Boston—Boston
Tampa Bay vs. Atlanta—Tampa Bay
Minnesota vs. Columbus—Minnesota
Nashville vs. Dallas—Dallas
San Jose vs. Anaheim—San Jose
Calgary vs. Edmonton—Calgary
Phoenix vs. Los Angeles—Los Angeles

Current Record: 2-6
