This weekends games have a lot of potential to be not just another regular season game, but to be a great game. This slideshow will show you the top 3 most intriguing match-ups for this weekends games.

While dicussing the match-ups, I will then give my opinion on who will win the battle, and ultimately the game.

Tom Brady vs. Ed Reed, Ray Lewis and Co.

The return on Tom Brady hasn't gone as well as hoped so far. The Patriots are 2-1, and to everyone that is not good, but in fact it is not bad at all. Everyone forgets how long it actually takes for someone to FULLY recover from ACL surgery. He has looked uncomfortable and pedestrian at times and it has shown in his stats:

87 of 142 for 871 while completing 61.3% with 3 TDs and 2 INTs and a passer rating of 79.9

He hasn't seem to have made a connection with Joey Galloway yet, but by mid-season he should hit his stride. Unfortunately he has to go up against a revitalized Baltimore Ravens defense lead by Ray Lewis, Ed Reed and Co. Sunday. The defense Tom Brady is going to be going up against is T-2 in takeaways with 6, one behind Green Bay. All the takeaways have been interceptions too, which is bad news for Brady. The Ravens are coming in on a hot streak and are going to hit Tom Brady all game trying to use the same strategy the New York Jets had.

Baltimore's defense proves too much for Tom Brady and the Patriots.

Brett Favre vs. Packer Nation..and the Packers Pass Defense

MINNEAPOLIS, MN - SEPTEMBER 27: Quarterback Brett Favre #4 of the Minnesota Vikings prepares to throw the ball during the game against the San Francisco 49ers at Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome on September 27, 2009 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Vikings de

We all know the drama of the Brett Favre and Green Bay Packers disaster, so I'm not going to go into it. What I will go into is the actually game that will be played Monday night. You are probably saying "Wait, there is a football game Monday night." Yes there is and it is a big one. First off, we need to stop living in the past and focus on this game, that is what Brett Favre has to be thinking going into Monday night. The Packers run defense is going to get demolished, but when the Vikings decide to throw the ball, I don't know if they will be able to. This game will have some bad blood in it, and whoever can keep their minds on the game and not the drama will win this game. This game is more than an ordinary game; it can give the victor a better road to a division crown and the playoffs.

Darrelle Revis vs. Marques Colston

Darrelle Revis of the New York Jets is showing that he deserves to be in the category of best CBs in the league. So far this season he has held Andre Johnson to 4 catches and 35 yards, Randy Moss to 4 catches for 24 yards, and Nate Washington to 2 catches and 25 yards for 1 touchdown. Not too bad. This weekend Revis goes up against one of the best in the game, Marques Colston. So far this season Colston has 15 catches for 195 yards and 3 touchdowns. Some one has to win this matchup in order for their team to win. Drew Brees doesn't just need Colston, but if he doesn't hit him often, the Saints might lose this game.
