As suspected Fernando Alonso has signed a three year deal for Ferrari earning £35million pounds a season making him the highest paid driver on the grid. He will partner Felipe Massa who has been out of action since his near death experience at Hungary in June where he suffered a fractured skull and concussion ,Massa's replacement Giancarlo Fisichella will stay within the team as their reserve driver which means he and Fernando will be reunited as they were team mates at Fernando's current team Renault in 2005 and 2006 when Fernando won his World titles. Alonso is said to be delighted at his move to Ferrari a move that has been on the cards for a while with Fernando linked with "the prancing horse" since 2002 the year he became Renualt's test driver. As a long time fan of Fernando all i can say is good luck and may he win many titles a emulate Shumacher.
