As reported by Jay Allen through John Strong on 95.5 The Game Sports Radio in Portland, Oregon Coach Chip Kelly will address the media on the status of LaGarrette Blount sometime tomorrow.
The press conference comes at a interesting time for the Ducks, as they have just lost Walter Thurmond III to a season-ending knee injury, forcing running back Kenyon Barner to move back to defensive back.
The Ducks are ultra thin at running back and if Blount was allowed to come back at any point throughout the season, it would greatly help.
Kelly has refused to talk about Blount's status with the media every time a question has been asked, saying only whether he had been at practice that day.
I highly doubt the Ducks would hold a press conference to announce Blount has been kicked off the team. UO officials said that Kelly may address some sort of reinstatement during the season.
Blount was suspended on September fourth, one day after he threw a punch in the direction of Boise State player Byron Hout and had to be escorted by police off the field.
Feel free to use this as a forum to discuss a possible reinstatement or not.
