Ladies and Gentlemen, I welcome you to the Primetime TV battle of the summer. These two sports will be going head to head on Network TV, fighting for ratings, and bragging rights.

Let me introduce to you the competitors.

In the red corner coming from CBS, it’s making history tonight. For the first time on Network Television, a MMA event will be telecasted for FREE. With stars like Kimbo Slice bringing the pain! Introducing… Elite XC Saturday Night Fights!

And their opponents, in the blue corner coming in from NBC. They fight their battles on the ice with names like Sidney Crosby, Pavel Datsyuk and Nicklas Lidstrom. With the series 2 – 1 for the Red Wings, they are entering Game Four tonight! Introducing … NHL PLAYOFFS!

Which of these will win the battle for ratings? Will it be the history making MMA event, or will the exciting NHL action take it home? Grab a beer and some nachos and tune in tonight!

The debut of Elitecx Saturday Night Fights on CBS averaged 4.30 million viewers from 9-11 p.m
