NBA Atlantic, Los Angeles Lakers, Preview/Prediction

After the Celtics’ amazing road victory on Friday, it’s time for Peirce and Garnett to make the final run for the championship, but with the Lakers and their dominating force, this may be a match that even the gods can’t predict.

While it’s been 20 years since the Celtics have had a chance for the championship, the reining force that may come between them and the coveted sparkling jewel of basketball is Kobe.

His dominating force has brought the Lakers back from the brink and allowed him to achieve MVP status that could crush the Celtics in their tracks.

Experts predict that the Lakers will win the series four games to three, but other experts say it could be the Celtics.

While these guesses may not prove to be correct, the statistics can’t deny the fact the Lakers have an advantage over Boston.

Only time will tell who will take the first game.

Tune in on Thursday at 8 p.m. for this monumental match that will most definitely have some of the greatest plays that the NBA has seen and will remain in our memories as the time when the gods collided.

  1. Experts, please. Lakers would win this series 4-2 or 4-1

  2. All they need to do is win one in Boston. If they do that, they'll have homecourt.

  3. The matchups, bench, and coach of the Lakers seem to be just too much for Boston. This isn't Bostons year. You can clearly see that from them going seven games with Atlanta. Boston has too many weaknesses that will be fully exploited by the Lakers.

  4. i agree completely with you Greg, i like Boston but the laker's have a huge advantage of being the batter team and i expect at least 1 game where the Celtics could hold themselves up, but it will be the lakers year.

  5. well it looks like the lakers lost, ppl, u all suck, becasue the celtics proved to be the better offensive and defensive teams in the series, kobe was shut down and allen was brought to life. this proved to be the Celtics year and I am looking for them to repeat next year, even three-peat the year after that
