Ex-Yankee Drug Addict Beats And Chokes His Wife

Players who play for the NY Yankees have always been suspect in the character department.

As soon as someone dons a Yankee uniform he is, essentially, selling his soul to the Devil anyway, so does it really surprise anyone when we hear stories of ex-Yankees getting into trouble with the law and committing unlawful acts outside the realm of baseball?

Of course not.

We have all seen Joba "The Pig" Chamberlain get arrested for drunk driving.

We have seen Roger Clemens lie under oath in front of the United States Congress.

We have even seen Jim Leyritz cause the death of a woman while drunk driving in Florida.

Today, former New York Yankees second baseman Chuck Knoblauch surrendered to Houston authorities after being charged with assaulting his wife.

Knoblauch choked and beat his wife Stacey Victoria Stelmach at her Memorial Villages home, after a heavy night of drinking.

Knoblauch also was under the influence of the anti-anxiety drug Xanax, officials said.

The altercation reportedly occurred after Stelmach attempted to take his car keys away from him.

There is an old saying that "no good deed goes unpunished." This incident appears to be a classic case of that tragic statement.

Knoblauch's wife didn't want him to endanger his life and the lives of others and for her efforts she was strangled and beaten up.

In court, Chuck Knoblauch was issued a no-contact order.

Lets not sugar coat the facts and call it like it is. Chuck Knoblauch is a drug addict and a mentally unstable wife beater. Case closed.

He couldn't throw the ball accurately to first base while he was with the Yankees, but now we all know how accurate he can be with a right cross to the face of a defenseless woman.

People like Knoblauch are, traditionally, the type of ego maniacal idiots that the NY Yankee organization has had a long history of attracting.

Weak, greedy, bullies who lack character and are such disturbed ego maniacs that they, somehow, feel that they are above the law and should not be responsible for their own dangerous and unlawful actions.

Everything the NY Yankees seem to do is guided by an underlying sense of bad karma that comes from their arrogance, their insidious business practices and the way they seek to monopolize the game of baseball by eliminating competition via economic terrorism.

Maybe now Chuck Knoblauch can hang out with fellow Yankee wife beater Dave Justice and discuss their "greatest hits," ...and we're not talking about line drives on the baseball diamond either.

Maybe Knoblauch can get some sympathy from another Yankee piece of human garbage who likes beating the hell out of women. Who knows?

But these are NY Yankees we're talking about, and they deserve no sympathy. True Yankees are people that gleefully gravitate towards arrogance, ignorance and ego mania.

So you see, no one should really be surprised by the fact that Chuck Knoblauch beats and chokes his wife. He is a Yankee after all.
