ESPN's Chris Mortenson is reporting that Miami Dolphin QB Chad Pennington is out for the remainder of the season with a "torn capsule" in his right shoulder and I have an idea on who should replace him...Michael Vick.

Think about it, Miami is now relying on Chad Henne as their starting QB the rest of the way and he has done very little to show he is ready to handle that job.  If the Dolphins were able to bring in Vick to not only mentor youngster Pat White but also take control of an offense full of speed-burners, that could lead to some wonderful moments on the field.

Miami finds themselves quickly 0-3 this season in a division with the much improved New York Jets and always powerful New England what are they really playing for this season?  Vick will not only put fans in the seats but he also will give them a chance to put on quite a show with each snap.

When you can run the "wildcat" offense with the likes of Vick, Ronnie Brown, Ricky Williams, Ted Ginn Jr., and Davone Bess you can't help but create a buzz on that side of the ball.  All the while Vick can be showing Pat White how to handle the pressures of being an NFL QB.  I mean, honestly, who better to follow around if you are attempting to learn how to handle the pressure of the media, fans, and everything else that goes along with the most important position on the field (Brett Favre withstanding).

Now, in all fairness, I am not even sure Vick is allowed to BE traded already.  I am admittedly ignorant when it comes to the rules of the NFL in this matter but I certainly would be on the phone with Philly if this were a possibility.

The Eagles gave Vick a chance to get back out on the field, get the initial negative press out of the way, and most importantly see some live action.  Now the Dolphins can give him a chance to do what he does best: Win Ballgames.
