In forgoing college basketball, rookie Emmanuel Mudiay never experienced a March Madness moment.

This absurd buzzer-beater, however, might just qualify.

Down by two points to the Philadelphia 76ers with mere seconds left in the fourth quarter, the Denver Nuggets point guard dribbled past half court, fighting through defenders T.J. McConnell and Isaiah Canaan.

After briefly losing his handle, he turned and hoisted up an off-balance shot.

The red lights illuminated. Everyone in the crowd was on their feet. Swish!

Thursday's hysteria may belong to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA tournament, but Wednesday is owned by the 20-year-old and his dramatic shot that gave Denver a 104-103 victory.
