Sometimes, fandom means spending an hour with 20-plus temporary tattoos and a damp washcloth.

Such was the case for an avid young J.R. Smith fan attending Wednesday evening's matchup between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Milwaukee Bucks—better known as J.R. Smith Bobblehead Night.

He eagerly awaited the appearance of the prolific shooter, armed with the latest Christmas Day jersey, a game-day program and his gap-toothed grin.

And tattoos. Lots and lots of tattoos.

Similar to his presumed favorite player, the pint-sized Cavs supporter elected to cover his body in artwork, and like Smith, he featured the New York Yankees logo prominently at the center of his neck.

Needless to say, his doppelganger ensemble drew plenty of attention—most notably from Smith, who took the time to autograph the dedicated fan's program.

What he should have signed, however, was the bobblehead, which, while made in his image, seemed to lack one of his most prominent characteristics: ink.
