Stabbed Back To Reality... Washington Husky Style!

Well of course there is extreme frustration after the Washington Huskies drop the ball against Stanford. This game really brought me back to earth. This team has not won one a game since 2007 against California! Do I really expect the dawgs to win more then six games? I don’t know but my expectations of their performance has been decreased due to this game!

These are some of the things they need to work on to be a number 24 ranked team.

- Defense is a key. If they want to beat Notre Dame they cant give up 321 yard on the ground. That means swarm the ball like they did against USC which will make it a long day for Norte Dame.

-Ground game will dictate how the dawgs will play against the Irish. If Chris Polk can scrape out 100+ yards the dawgs will have a chance to pull off another upset. I can see the dawgs winning if Locker will pull the ball down and scramble for some positive yards, but knowing Sark, Locker will air it out to his receivers.

-Consistently is going to make it our break it for the Huskies this season. If there defense can hold, up the dawgs will pull some tough wins out. But if the D crumbles we are in for a long finish to the season. Also if Jake Locker can stay healthy Washington will have a chance for a bowl game.
