Ryan Perrilloux, Way to Ruin Your Pro Football Career
Ryan Perrilloux. The former LSU quarterback waited three years to finally be at the top of the throne of the most claimed team of the decade, only to mess it up.
He was a highly touted recruit, many called him the best of his high school class. After once claiming that he would take Vince Young's spot at the University of Texas and win the Heisman all four years, he decided to attend LSU and hopefully become a Baton Rouge hero.
The dream was tainted every year, with Perrilloux getting in trouble at casinos for using false identification, and getting in Les Miles' doghouse. He was behind great quarterbacks like Jamarcus Russell and Matt Flynn for three years, but this was supposed be his year to command the LSU offense.
It was too good to be true for LSU fans. They had just won the second BCS National Championship, a record for college football. The thought of having Perrilloux as a starter made LSU fans wonder if he could handle it.
LSU fans don't have to worry if he can handle it, since he won't be a part of the team due to his final strike in failing a drug test.
Perrilloux has decided to transfer to Jacksonville State, after being dismissed by Miles. He claims that Jacksonville State is "perfect for me," but we all know any quarterback would much rather perform on the biggest stage, being SEC football.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that Ryan Perrilloux just ruined a great set-up that would have most likely boosted him into the NFL, his dream.
I wish he would've had an alarm to wake up him for those missed meetings, didn't get involved in those bar fights, and didn't fail that drug test.
Ryan Perrilloux, way to screw it up big time.
