Kristaps Porzingis Turns Down Fan's Elaborate Prom Request with Video

His latest denial, though, wasn’t thunderous—it was heartfelt.

On Monday, a New York Knicks fan named Sam posted a picture online that showed her surrounded by NYK gear and holding a sign requesting KP’s presence at her prom.

Walt "Clyde" Frazier would be proud of the lingo.

Sam brought the sign to New York's win over the Orlando Magic on Friday, and she even met the Latvian’s father:

On Saturday, Porzingis responded with a video:

"Sam, thank you so much for the invitation to your prom," he said. "Unfortunately, I will be out of the country at that time. But I hope you have a lot of fun without me.”

That's too bad. You know the Zinger would've owned the dance floor:
