Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed that he would be interested in pursuing a career in acting once he hangs up his boots as a footballer.

The Real Madrid superstar, 31, starred in his own documentary last year, titled simply Ronaldo, and that experience appears to have piqued his interest—but only if it involves working with the right people.

"I would like to learn being surrounded by good actors because only then will I learn since it is an area I do not control because it has nothing to do with football," he told Sacoor Brothers (via Goal). "Why not? It's not my goal at the moment, but I have had some invitations. Do not close the doors because it is an area which I like."

If Ronaldo does decide to get into acting, he will follow in the footsteps of former footballers like Vinnie Jones and Eric Cantona who have also pursued a second career in the performing arts.
