Oregon's Elgin Cook Receives Fortuitous Bounce on Dunk vs. Oregon State

This isn't quite how Oregon Ducks forward Elgin Cook envisioned this dunk playing out, but he's not going to argue with the results.

Two points are two points.

With less than eight minutes to play in the first half of Saturday's game against the Oregon State Beavers, Cook got past the defense and took a bounce pass in the paint. When he went up to slam the ball home, things got a little weird.

The ball clanked off the back of the rim, popped straight into the air and fell straight back down—finding its way through the net. When things don't go as planned, it doesn't hurt to have a little luck on your side.

Cook posted 16 points and four rebounds in the 91-81 victory.
