A day after Oklahoma City Thunder assistant coach Monty Williams touched many with a powerful eulogy at his wife’s funeral, the team honored the late Ingrid Williams with flowers in an empty seat.

Monty Williams, a former head coach of the New Orleans Pelicans, received an outpouring of support from the entire league.

The "W7" worn by OKC staff represents the number of members in the Williams family. They have five children.

Credit OKC for the subtle, heartfelt move. Some things are bigger than basketball.
