Dan Orlovsky is a good sport.

On Friday, the Detroit Lions backup quarterback congratulated Jared Allen on his retirement announcement with a post mocking one of his greatest blunders as a player.

During his first career start in 2008, Orlovsky stepped out of his own end zone while trying to avoid a first-quarter sack from Allen, which resulted in a deciding safety.

The Minnesota Vikings won, 12-10:

This was well-played by the former QB.
