Manchester United's back in the news again, and for once, it's not speculation about the future of Louis van Gaal's employment.

Wayne Rooney was ruled out for an extended period as a result of a knee injury.

The England and Manchester United captain is all the talk, as he apparently aggravated it playing on after he felt a pain during the Red Devils' defeat at Sunderland on the weekend.

That's the story the Mirror runs with as well as a rumour that Zlatan Ibrahimovic is hinting he'd like to reunite with former manager Jose Mourinho at Manchester United.

It's a similar Rooney story in the Sun, which also runs a story on an Adidas "promotion" aimed at Van Gaal's dull style of play at Manchester United.
