The California Golden Bears dominated Oregon in an 83-63 win Thursday night, snapping the Ducks’ six-game winning streak.

Cal (16-8, 6-5 Pac-12) never trailed in the game, extending its run of dominance at home. The Golden Bears are undefeated at Haas Pavilion this season, winning 15 straight on their home floor. Four of the five losses for Oregon (20-5, 9-3) this season have come on the road.

Jabari Bird had 22 points for Cal to lead all scorers while going 5-for-8 from 3-point range. Jaylen Brown had 16 points with four rebounds and four assists. Dillon Brown led the Ducks with 17 points on 6-of-12 shooting.

The Ducks now have just a one-game lead over USC in the conference standings. The upset win gives Cal its third win over a ranked opponent this season. The victory is also the Golden Bears’ best quality win to present to the selection committee.
