Love Active vs. Bulls

Thursday, Feb. 18

Chris Haynes of the Plain Dealer reported Love will play Thursday against Chicago.

Love Remains Vital Piece to Cavs' Puzzle

Though he's been a frequent target of criticism since the Cavaliers assembled their Big Three, the stretch 4 has been vital to the success of the Cleveland offense.

According to NBA.com's stats database, the Cleveland offense is 8.5 points better per 100 possessions when Love is on the floor.

Love is also one of two qualified players—along with the Sacramento Kings' DeMarcus Cousins—averaging at least 15 points and 10 rebounds while shooting better than 34 percent from three (minimum of one attempt per game) this season, per Basketball-Reference.com
