After the Lindale (Texas) High School Eagles tied a District 16-5A game at 39 with 2.7 seconds to play, the Corsicana High School Tigers had a chance to get one final shot off at the end of regulation.

The play didn't go quite like the coach had drawn it up, but the basketball found its way through the net.

Corsicana got the ball up the court quickly to try to get a good look before time expired. The pass to the Tigers' Chris Beacham nearly went out of bounds, but that's OK—he's capable of making circus shots.

Beacham somehow managed to not only save the ball from going out but also fling a shot at the hoop. Luck or not, the shot dropped.

The unbelievable bucket gave Corsicana a 42-39 victory and left Lindale stunned, with a couple of Eagles just holding their heads wondering what had happened.
