Jordan Spieth finished in a tie for sixth place following Friday's truncated action at the 2016 Singapore Open, five shots off the lead.
He only managed six holes before heavy rain forced play to be suspended for the day, and he carded one birdie and a bogey to remain on four under par following a Thursday round of 67.
Here is the world No. 1's incomplete scorecard from the second round:
Young-Han Song set the pace on Friday as he managed to complete a round of 63 and is sitting pretty at the top of the leaderboard on nine under par.
In his pursuit, Spieth started well, making a two on the par-three second to move to five under.
Unlike Thursday, he was unable to take advantage of the par-five fourth, and he dropped his first shot of the week with a bogey on the fifth.
The Singapore Open provided shots of the 22-year-old in action on the sixth—which he parred—before the players were called in because of the weather:
After a long delay, the day's play was eventually suspended for good, per the Asian Tour:
Play officially suspended for the day because of inclement weather. Rd 2 will resume at 730am on Saturday.— Asian Tour (@asiantourgolf) January 29, 2016
Spieth will return early on Saturday to complete his second round and will hope to set himself up for a weekend charge at the title.
