Before many became entranced by the world of athletes and coaches, they were lost in the imaginary world of trainers and gym leaders. For those people, Super Bowl 50 will be doubly fulfilling.

The Pokemon franchise, in celebration of its 20th anniversary, will be broadcasting a minute-long commercial titled "Train On" during the Super Bowl. The ad, which hit the Internet on Monday, marks the first time Pokemon will ever be a part of the famous game-break lineup.

Lifelong fans will notice subtle symbols in the commercial, from Nidoking chess pieces to fire badge-emblazoned football helmets. It's clear that due diligence was done to give this iconic brand justice.

And while the imaging should resonate with Pokemon fans of all ages, the message is also clear: keep training, keep collecting and keep the spirit and energy alive.

While the Pokemon franchise likely hopes to usher in a new generation of fans, it's doubtful that their current legions of followers need reminding.
