The Denver Broncos are going back to the Super Bowl.
In perhaps the most memorable AFC Championship Game in recent memory, the Broncos outlasted the New England Patriots for a two-point victory.
It was the 17th matchup between Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning and Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, and it might have been the last time we see these two go head-to-head. However, it was the Denver defense that delivered the goods when it mattered most.
Brady managed to find tight end Rob Gronkowski for a touchdown in the closing seconds of the game, but the Denver defense delivered an interception on the ensuing two-point try. In an epic battle that came down to a handful of plays, the Broncos made the final one that mattered.
Denver 20, New England 18
