On January 23, 2015, Golden State Warriors star Klay Thompson went off against the Sacramento Kings, putting up an NBA-record 37 points in the third quarter on his way to a 52-point game.

An unforgettable performance like that is worthy of celebrating every year when the anniversary comes around. When Saturday—the one-year anniversary—arrived, Golden State honored the legendary shooting performance on social media.

Being on the receiving end of that incredible shooting display, the Kings weren't really feeling the Warriors' tweet:

It will always be "too soon" for Sacramento.
