Another day of practice for the San Diego Chargers, another day on the sidelines for LaDainian Tomlinson.

According to Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union Tribune, Tomlinson is hopeful to play on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins, but there's no sense of urgency, due to the ability of Darren Sporles and Michael Bennett to handle the tailback duties.

"I can get healthy," Tomlinson said.

"I don't have to just get to a certain percentage and then stay at that percentage all season."

LaDainian played through a nagging toe injury during 2008, never showing the full extent of his powers.

With or without him, the Chargers face a tough challenge against the Fins, who are the league's 7th best against the run, surrendering just 129 yards total through two games.

Lucky Chargers, at least they have Darren and Michael because they are really good runners and Michael a great third-down back.
