Shumpert Active vs. Raptors

Friday, Feb. 26

Cavaliers play-by-play announcer Fred McLeod reported that Shumpert will play on Friday against Toronto.

Shumpert Is No Stranger to Injury

Between a torn ACL in his past and offseason wrist surgery that sidelined him for the beginning of 2015-16, Shumpert knows what it's like to deal with adversity through injury. The Cavs had to adapt during his absence this season and have still managed to remain atop the Eastern Conference.

Shumpert is a lockdown perimeter defender and brings a tremendous amount to that end of the floor. The 25-year-old is a valuable cog to the Cavs' hopeful championship bid.
