Woeful Philadelphia 76ers Get Mocked on 'The Simpsons'

After spending the last few years at the bottom of the NBA standings, the Philadelphia 76ers' "hard work" has officially paid off.

They have now been used as a punchline on The Simpsons.

The popular Fox show has been known to take some shots at notable celebrities or sports teams through the years. This past weekend's episode featured an unexpected dig at the 76ers, a team that is 5-38 this season and 42-165 since the start of the 2013-14 season.

Apparently, people would rather cough up money than be seen wearing 76ers gear these days.
