CLEVELAND, OH - JUNE 16: Klay Thompson #11 and Stephen Curry #30 of the Golden State Warriors celebrate winning the Larry O'Brein Trophy after Game Six of the 2015 NBA Finals against the Cleveland Cavaliers at the Quicken Loans Arena on June 16, 2015 in Cleveland, Ohio. As it turns out, Stephen Curry saying he hopes the visiting locker room at Quicken Loans Arena "still smells a little bit like champagne" was like ripping open an old wound just to pour salt on it for the Cleveland Cavaliers.

That appears to be how a few players saw it, at least.

According to Cleveland.com's Chris Haynes, some Cavaliers players considered the comment to be "disrespectful." What's more, LeBron James asked reporters why he wasn't asked about the quote, saying he had an answer for it.

The Cavaliers welcome the Golden State Warriors back to Cleveland on Monday for the first time since losing the NBA Finals in Game 6 last June.
