Who knew Russell Wilson was playing quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs on Saturday?

Turns out he changed his name to "Alex Smith," too.

With the Chiefs needing a spark midway through the third quarter against the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium, Smith miraculously eluded a sea of Pats rushers on third down.

Once in the clear, the quarterback connected with Jason Avant for a big gain near midfield.

Smith later capped off the drive with a touchdown to Albert Wilson, cutting New England’s lead to 21-13.
