Chris Paul guided the Los Angeles Clippers to a 104-90 victory over the Miami Heat on Wednesday at the Staples Center.
Miami coughed up a 16-point lead because it struggled to contain Paul, who racked up 15 points, 12 assists, six rebounds and four steals. The Clippers notched their 10th straight win.
Cole Aldrich filled in for DeAndre Jordan (pneumonia) and netted a season-best 19 points, adding seven boards and three assists for the victors. Jamal Crawford and Paul Pierce each chipped in 15 points.
Although the Heat held a 52-45 advantage at halftime, they were flat-out dominated after the break as Los Angeles outscored Miami 59-38.
Gerald Green paced the Heat with 19 points, but the team needed more production from Chris Bosh. While he tallied 11 points, 12 rebounds amd seven assists, Bosh finished 3-of-11 from the field and 0-of-4 from beyond the arc.
