Barnes Active vs. Knicks

Friday, Feb. 5

Ross Wooden of the Grizzlies' communication team reported Barnes will play Friday against the New York Knicks.

Barnes Valuable Defensive Presence

Barnes played 22 minutes in Memphis' victory over the Sacramento Kings on Saturday, but the Grizzlies confirmed on Twitter he would miss Monday's game against the New Orleans Pelicans.

There weren't a lot of great options on the team's bench to stand in for Barnes on the wing.

While Vince Carter and Jeff Green were able to fill the void on the wing while Barnes was out, getting Barnes' veteran presence back on the wing will be a big boost.
