Chipper Jones Deserves Some Respect

Chris SkidmoreContributor IMay 29, 2008

This year Chipper Jones has statistically seen his best year yet. He is a man with pure composure on the field and his work ethic makes him an all around great player.

These days when you turn on the TV to a sports channel all you can hear about is Lance Berkman. Everyone at ESPN believes Lance is god because he hits .386. Hello, ESPN— Chipper has a .422 batting average.

This is outrageous. Everyone knows that Espn has a problem with Atlanta for some reason. Just give Chipper the respect he deserves. I want to hear Tim Kurkjian and Buster Olney talk a little more about Chipper than Lance Berkman.Does anyone feel my pain?
