And the Los Blancos legend's tenure got off to the perfect start when Karim Benzema flicked Sergio Ramos' miscued shot into the net after just 15 minutes.

Benzema makes it 1-0 @ 15mins with a cheeky flick of a Ramos miss hit.... 100 the goal for him & Zizou's first!

Seven minutes later, and it was 2-0, with Gareth Bale nodding home Dani Carvajal's right-wing cross.

Bale added another shortly after half-time, finishing well from Cristiano Ronaldo's low cross.

This casual finish from Bale was his 50th goal for Real Madrid... Not a bad return in less than 3 seasons!

And Bale completed his hat-trick after 63 minutes, powering home another header from Toni Kroos' corner.
