Whiteside Gives Heat Important Post Presence

Whiteside has developed into a key asset on the interior for Miami. He traveled the globe after his first NBA stint with the Sacramento Kings didn't work out. Now he's averaging a double-double while leading the league in blocks for the Heat at 3.81 per game.

On the injury front, he previously missed some action with knee soreness. That's always a concern. "I really felt like I couldn't really do anything, as far as running or jumping," he said at the time, per Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel.
