West Virginia 43, Arizona St. 42—Final

West Virginia holds on to win a wild Cactus Bowl, turning in a game-winning drive to beat Arizona State by a 43-42 margin.

Skyler Howard led the way for the Mountaineers with five touchdown passes, including the game-winner, and a Cactus Bowl-record 532 yards through the air. Receiver Shelton Gibson led the skill players with 116 receiving yards and a touchdown, while Wendell Smallwood picked up a huge first down on the final drive.

For the losing side, Mike Bercovici matched Howard with five touchdowns, but was unable to connect on a last-ditch attempt on 4th-and-10.
