After late disappointment against Tottenham Hotspur on Dec. 28, Watford suffered a second consecutive league heartbreaker when Manchester City struck late to take three points at Vicarage Road on Saturday.

Yaya Toure scored the equaliser for the Citizens, volleying in an Aleksandar Kolarov corner in style.

Kolarov certainly made amends for nodding in a Ben Watson corner for the Hornets' opener.

8. Blair Spittal (Dundee United) vs. Dundee

Eibar's sensational season continued on Sunday with a 4-0 victory at Real Betis.

For the first time in a long time, Wayne Rooney ended a Manchester United game with a smile on his face, bagging his team's winner against Swansea City on Saturday.

The 30-year-old slotted in his third league goal of the season with a cheeky backheeled finish past Lukasz Fabianski.

The beauty of the goal was certainly heightened by the superb assist provided by Anthony Martial.

Aston Villa seem all but destined to spend next season in the Championship after losing 3-1 to relegation rivals Sunderland on Saturday.

The Villans, however, can take solace from the goal Carles Gil scored to level the game just after the hour mark—a superb acrobatic volley.

1. Martin Samuelsen (Peterborough) vs. Sheffield United

10 of 10

Martin Samuelsen might be a name we will be hearing a lot more of in the future.

The 18-year-old Norwegian is on loan from West Ham United at Peterborough, whom he led to three points on Saturday with a stunning solo effort.

With six minutes left on the clock against Sheffield United and the score at 2-2, Samuelsen produced a dizzying run he capped with a wonderful left-footed finish.

What a way to win a game on the road!
