FINAL

In the penultimate New Year's Six bowl game, the Stanford Cardinal—the only Power Five champion to not make the College Football Playoff—routed the Iowa Hawkeyes in the comforts of their home state.

Stanford's Christian McCaffrey, a Heisman finalist just weeks ago, was the player to watch, as he broke the game open with a 75-yard touchdown catch on the first play from scrimmage.

Stanford goes into the offseason with plenty of momentum, while Iowa leaves with more question marks after ending a campaign that started off 12-0 with two straight losses.
