A night removed from losing their second game of the season, the Golden State Warriors (30-2) tried to avoid their first losing streak of 2015-16.

Reigning MVP Stephen Curry has been dealing with a leg injury, leaving Golden State to fend for itself. However, the Warriors beat the 16-18 Houston Rockets, 114-110, on Thursday at Toyota Center.

Klay Thompson led the Dubs in Curry's stead with a game-high 38 points. James Harden netted 30 points in a losing effort.

The Rockets have lost three straight games and four of their last five.
