Hey, it's Svyato hitting you guys up with what was suppossed to be another impact article, but it did not meet the deadline because of the computer crashing so now it's going to be a tribute to good old Triple H. This article is also very important to me because it is my one hundreth article. I finally reached the big mark. Now only five hundred until I catch up to you Joe(laugh)! Anyways here is a tribute to the Cerebral Assassin, Triple H.
Triple H, We Couldn't Have Made It Here Without You!
What is impact on wrestling? Is it the many belts you hold? Is it how big you make your brand/company? Is it how big you are? Well the best person to ask is Triple H himself.
Triple H is one of the most well known wrestlers in the history of World Wrestling Entertainment/Federation. He has helped the business so much and has carried it on his shoulders when needed. He is a very credible champion. He is a superstar that can take it and despite his age is still able to wrestle at top form.
Early Career
Triple H was trained by Killer Kowalski at Kowalski's wrestling school. Little did he know that he was training a future WWE Legend. There is no doubt that at this point Triple H will definitely find himself a spot in the Hall Of Fame. There is not a single person who can honestly say he won't after what he has done.
He then joined the Independant Wrestling Federation, which was a promotion with Kowalski's trainees. While in there he became the IWF Heavyewight Champion under the in ring name of Terra Ryzing.
WCW (World Wrestling Championship)
In 1994 Triple H signed a one year contract with World Championship Wrestling. In his first WCW match he defeated Brian Armstrong. He would wrestle under the name, Terra Ryzing until about midway through 1994. He then renamed himself Jean-Paul Levesque. This gimmick had him talking with a French accent, although not an enjoyable one. During this time the move named, Pedigree was born. He had a feud with Alex Wright that ended at Starrcade with Levesque getting pinned by the Wright. He would then tag up with Lord Steven Regal, who had a British persona. It's kind of weird to have Britian and France on the same side, isn't it? But it happened. It would be short lived though because in 1995 Triple H left WCW and made his way over to the World Wrestling Federation.
WWF/E (World Wrestling Federation later to be renamed World Wrestling Entertainment)
Triple H started his WWF career as the "Connecticut Blueblood," Hunter Hearst Hemsley. Leading up to his debut Hunter appeared in tapes talking about proper etiquette. On April 30th, 1995 he debuted on an episode of WWF Wrestling Challenge.
At first it seemed like the man was going to be heavily pushed, but things changed. His career was slowly starting of with a feud with Duke Droese. Following a loss in the Free For All at Royal Rumble, he had this angle where he would bring out a different female valet each week. At Wrestlemania 12 he faced the Ultimate Warrior, with his valet at the time being none other than Sable. He would lose the match and take his frustrations on Sable with it ending in the debut of Marc Mero. These two would go on to feud.
