It's the time of the NFL season when teams are fighting for their playoff lives and emotions are running high, and as a result, tempers can flare on the field.
That was the case in what was expected to be the best matchup of the day: New York Giants receiver Odell Beckham Jr. against Carolina Panthers cornerback Josh Norman.
The two got into an altercation on the field during a play in the first quarter—a play in which the ball was not thrown to Beckham.
Despite the scuffle breaking out right in front of a referee, neither player was penalized on the play.
In the third quarter, with the Panthers leading 35-7, things once again got heated when Beckham took a high shot at Norman:
Beckham should probably expect to hear from the NFL this week.
