Rodriguez Says More Freshmen May Play in Coming Weeks

Coach Rodriguez has hinted that several new faces may appear in the coming weeks.

"The freshmen that have played, we plan on playing them and their roles will probably increase," Rodriguez said. "But I wouldn't be surprised if a couple more freshmen that haven't played still get in the mix in the next couple of weeks."

Who is he talking about?

Rodriguez hinted that CB J.T. Turner, LB Mike Jones, OL Michael Schofield, and OL Taylor Lewan could play soon.

"We have some outstanding freshmen offensive linemen, but there's so much for them to learn," Rodriguez said. "We repped Taylor Lewan and Michael Schofield with the [second team] last week just to kind of get them greased up."
