Couture Active vs. Flyers
Wednesday, Dec. 30
Kevin Kurz of CSN Bay Area reported Couture will play against the Philadelphia Flyers.
Couture's Presence Vital to Sharks' Attack
Couture has been limited to just five games so far this season and has only two points—both assists.
Typically, he's an important cog in the Sharks' offensive attack. He tallied 27 goals and 40 assists while appearing in all 82 of the team's regular-season games last season. He has 290 career points in 384 contests.
San Jose will hope Couture can put the injury woes behind him and return to his important role for the rest of the campaign as the team looks to make a playoff push.
