UFL Roster Moves From Training Camps

As UFL Training Camps are open three of the four teams made roster moves today. Here is a quick look at the moves announced by the league:

Florida Tuskers

Cut—CB Curtis Deloatch, LS Joey Madrid, DB Demario Minter, FB Steven Korte, and NT Rein Long

The Tuskers also added RB Michael Pittman to their active roster, and traded WR Koren Robinson to the New York Sentinels for future considerations

New York Sentinels

Cut—OL Patrick Afif, OL Devin Clark, DE David Miller, and OL Patrick Venske

California Redwoods

Cut—DL Matt Chatelain, and LB Adam Vincent

The addition of Pittman comes as a little bit of a surprise considering he signed with the league way back in August.

Pittman served much of the 2008 NFL season on IR with a neck injury after signing with the Denver Broncos. He won a Super Bowl ring as a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and may show that the UFL teams are using regionally popular players to help sell tickets to their teams.

This league also seems to have a tendency to sign players with questionable behaviors as Koren Robinson not only has a DUI conviction, but was allegedly involved in the Minnesota Vikings cruise boat scandal in 2005.
