Davis Crucial to Pelicans' Hopes
Davis, 22, is the centerpiece of the Pelicans franchise and has developed into one of the NBA's elite performers in his first four seasons in the league.
The two-time All-Star led the Pelicans to the postseason in 2014-15 and was a first-team All-NBA selection. He's not only the Pelicans' top option offensively, but he's also one of the most dynamic defensive players in the game and a matchup nightmare thanks to his rare blend of size (6'10") and athleticism.
Anderson is an excellent backup, but few players have an impact on the game the way Davis does on a nightly basis.
